Spanning 22 acres, the VMRDA City Central Park opened its doors on Sep 14, 2016, inaugurated by former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Chandrababu Naidu. Maintained by the Visakhapatnam Metropolitan Region Development Authority, it stands as a well-groomed oasis within the city.
A favored spot for couples and families alike, the park boasts lush lawns, over 3000 shady trees, and more than 50 varieties of plants, setting it apart from other entertainment venues in Visakhapatnam.
Ideal for a half-day outing, the park offers a plethora of activities for all ages, including a designated children's area and numerous eateries to satisfy your cravings.
Notable attractions at VMRDA City Central Park:
1. Musical Fountain: Don't miss the captivating musical fountain, the third-largest in India, which enchants visitors with its synchronized water display set to music.
2. Bonsai Garden: Explore the enchanting Bonsai Garden housing over 100 varieties of miniature bonsais, with plans for workshops led by international experts.

Entry Fee and Timings:
The park is open daily from 9:00 AM to 8:30 PM. Entrance fees vary, with rates of INR 20 per person for adults/children visiting between 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM, and INR 60 per person for visits between 2:00 PM and 8:30 PM, which includes admission to the musical fountain show. Additionally, parking fees are INR 30 for cars and INR 20 for two-wheelers.
