Mutyalammapalem Beach Vizag

 

Mutayalammapalem Beach is one of the best beaches of Vizag and is known for its magnificent backdrop of hills and salubrious forests. As the river flows through the Syamala Konda hill and gets connected to the beach it creates a mesmerizing sight. The boats anchored at the beach add to its picturesque landscape.

 

Activities at the Mutayalammapalem Beach in Vizag :

Because of its scenic background, the beach is used for various pre-wedding shoots and shooting of Telugu serials and movies. The beach is also one of the spots for the visarjan or immersion of the Ganpati idol after the Ganesh Utsav.

 

This beach is also the venue for the Mutayalamma Thalli festival which is celebrated every year during May-June. It is a month-long festival that attracts not only the local population but also tourists from neighbouring towns and cities.
